GoogleDate

Google Date lets you enter a date and then searches using Google for what happened on that date and shows three results. Since Google isn't very good at sorting documents for relevance when it comes to dates, it usually doesn't give you a list of big events, but of the things happening in the lives of random people.

Enter the date below you want Google to search for. In extra, you can add a keyword in order to get events of a certain type (think football)

  • Google automatically generates html versions of documents as we crawl the web.On September 11, 2001, JamesPage 136 THE NEW YORKER, JANUARY 7, 2008 dEpT.
  • 1574 to HR2590: To authorize the issuance of Unity Bonds in response to the acts of terrorism perpetrated against the United States on September 11, 2001.
  • 74: A concurrent resolution condemning bigotry and violence against Sikh-Americans in the wake of terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C. on September 11, 2001.

This shouldn't surprise anybody, but even though I have a couple of Google Projects and I work for Google, everything that happens here is just me. Nothing to do with Google the company.
