GoogleDate

Google Date lets you enter a date and then searches using Google for what happened on that date and shows three results. Since Google isn't very good at sorting documents for relevance when it comes to dates, it usually doesn't give you a list of big events, but of the things happening in the lives of random people.

Enter the date below you want Google to search for. In extra, you can add a keyword in order to get events of a certain type (think football)

Date (day, month, year)
Extra keyword to restrict the search

Results:
  • On February 18, 1904, one John W Lucas purchased from trustees "a part of Hermitage" part of which is now the site of the St Jude Catholic School.
  • Gamma Nu Chapter of Delta Tau Delta originated as Omega Lambda Upsilon. The first meeting of this body was held on February 18, 1904. During four years the fraternity increased in size and progressed in purpose.
  • West Penn Railways Company, as a distinct corporate entity, was chartered on February 18, 1904. It operated until August 9, 1952, when its last car ran from Uniontown to Greensburg.

This shouldn't surprise anybody, but even though I have a couple of Google Projects and I work for Google, everything that happens here is just me. Nothing to do with Google the company.
